  Supplier Diversity

Message to Suppliers

Thank you for your interest in establishing a business relationship with National Systems.  At National Systems (NSI), all aspects of the business enjoy the advantage of diversity. We benefit from diversity in our workforce, our customers, and of course, our supplier base.

National Systems has long embraced the values embodied in our Operating Principles: integrity, respect for people and diverse backgrounds, courtesy, and customer service.  Consistent with the principle of respect for people and diverse backgrounds, we take supplier diversity seriously.

We want to learn more about your company and its capabilities. We encourage you to be a part of an important commitment to support Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) development. It makes good business sense and benefits both business and the communities we serve.

Supplier Diversity Policy Statement

National Systems’ Supplier Diversity Program is designed to provide competitive opportunities for Minority and Women owned businesses to supply quality products and services to Armstrong. This program supports our core value of diversity.

NSI recognizes minority- and women-owned enterprises as those that are at least 51 percent owned and operated by minorities or women.

To be eligible for our Supplier Diversity Program, a company must be certified as a minority or woman-owned business by one of the following councils:

The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) provides increased procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses of all sizes.
The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) provides programs and policies that are designed to expand opportunities and eliminate barriers in the marketplace for women business owners.

NSI’s procurement process includes searching the NMSDC and WBENC databases for certified companies as a need arises.
